Bonnie Herring Ingram

NATCHEZ Bonnie Herring Ingram died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2004, at Natchez Community Hospital. She was 83.

Mrs. Ingram was born in Hamburg, Miss., to the late James Monroe Sr. and Elizabeth Mae Freeman Herring. She was an accounting auditor for Natchez Regional Medical Center before her retirement in 1996.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Lou Brady, and two brothers, Joseph Herring and Robert “Blackie” Herring.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda M. Shows of Vicksburg; a son, Alan Ingram of Natchez; one sister, Marie Davis of Picayune; one brother, James Monroe Herring Jr. of Chipley, Fla.; two grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Laird Funeral Home in Natchez with Dr. Judson W. Hurt and the Rev. Dan Wynn officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight and from 1 p.m. Sunday until the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Fred H. Davis, Will Thomason, Homer Herring, R. Joe Morris, Donald Herring and Jim Herring.
