Ada Graham
UTICA Mrs. Ada Graham died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was 75.
Mrs. Graham was born in Germany, and for the past 50 years she lived in Utica.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Murray Graham.
She is survived by two daughters, Vivian Graham of Clinton and Astrid Warnock of Utica; and two grandchildren.
Arrangements are incomplete with Glenwood Funeral Home in Utica in charge.
Mary Nell Head
HOUSTON Mary Nell Head died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, in Houston. She was 87.
She was born in Denver, was a former resident of Houston and had been a resident of Texas City, Texas, since 1948.
Mrs. Head was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Tuesday Morning Sewing Club.
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church where she served as president of the Altar Society. She was a past president of the Parent Teacher Association of Our Lady of Fatima School.
Mrs. Head was preceded in death by her her husband, Gibson Bobb Head; her son, John William Head and her sister, Pat Inman Daniel.
Survivors include three sons, Michael Bobb Head of Houston, David Richmond Head of Nashville, Tenn., and Louis Gibson Head of Katy, Texas; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and other family members of the Head and Bobb families of Vicksburg and Jackson.
Services will be at noon Monday at the Yokena Cemetery with the Rev. P.J. Curley, pastor of St. Michael Catholic Church, officiating.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday until the service at Riles Funeral Home.

Bradis F. Johnson
TRANSYLVANIA, La. Bradis F. Johnson died Friday, Sept. 10, 2004 at her home in Transylvania. She was 88.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Smith County.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fount Fortenberry and Angie Dukes Fortenberry; her husband, Lee Johnson; five brothers, Quitman Fortenberry, Elton Fortenberry, Bent Fortenberry, F.E. Fortenberry and Ray Fortenberry; two sisters, Dee Shores and Beatrice Fairchild; and a granddaughter, Phillis Johnson.
Survivors include four sons, Marvin Johnson, Alvin Johnson and Donald Johnson, all of Transylvania, and Bobby Dale Johnson of Oak Grove; three daughters, Erma Jean Pippin of Lake Providence, Betty Russell of Oak Grove and Shirley McKaskle of Transylvania; three brothers, Quinton Fortenberry, Clint Fortenberry and Earl Fortenberry, all of Transylvania; 19 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Cox Funeral Home chapel in Oak Grove with the Rev. James Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Memorial Cemetery in Lake Providence.
Pallbearers will be Delmar Gene Pippin, Gregg Johnson, Ace Johnson, Kevin Russell, Ed McKaskle and Lee Johnson.
