Jessie Reed

PORT GIBSON Jessie Reed died Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, at his home in Port Gibson. He was 90.

Mr. Reed was a member of Morning Star M.B. Church in Lorman.

He is survived by two sisters, Laura Grayson and Alice Davis-Reed, both of Milwaukee; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends, including Ernestine Woods of Milwaukee, Deborah McDonald of Fayette, Laura Reed of Los Angeles, Silbert Wilson and Charles Reed, both of Port Gibson, and Preshervie J. Ford of Lorman.

Services were at 11 a.m. today at China Grove M.B. Church in Russum with the Rev. Leon Nelson officiating. Burial followed at McCay Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Port Gibson.

Allison P. Wilson

Services for Allison P. “Al” Wilson will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Wilson died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. He was 67.

He was a resident of Vicksburg and was retired.

He is survived by a sister, Hattie Brown of Greenville; nieces and nephews, including Cheryl Brown and Melvin Tyler, both of Jackson, and Linda Sandles and Johnny Williams III, both of Vicksburg; and other relatives and friends.
