Dorothy Robertson Bonelli

Dorothy Robertson Bonelli died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. She was 85.

Mrs. Bonelli was born in Vicksburg to Henry Dixon and Chesley Bonny Robertson.

Mrs. Bonelli retired in 1989 as an executive secretary at Merchants National Bank. She was a member of the Vicksburg Beautification Committee and was the first woman to be a member of the vestry of Christ Episcopal Church, where she served on the Altar Guild.

She was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity where she served on the Flower Guild.

Mrs. Bonelli was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Robertson Guider.

She is survived by her husband, Vincent Bonelli Jr.; a son, Chandler Bonelli of Vicksburg; three daughters, Emily Bonelli and Carol Bonelli, both of Vicksburg, and Claire Jackson of Ridgeland; a grandson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Church of the Holy Trinity Episcopal with the Rev. Michael Nation, rector, officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Riles Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at McInnis Parish Hall of the Church of the Holy Trinity from 10 a.m. Monday until the hour of the service.

Pallbearers will be Richard Kette, Howell Gage, Joel Horton, Don Morton, Miles Tickell, Barry Renfroe, John Herrod, Joe Thweatt, Joe Neely, Dr. Nolen Hudson, David Hosemann, Warren Guider, Dr. Bob Ford, Bill Shappley, Robert Sadler and James A. Wilkerson.

Memorials may be made to the Church of the Holy Trinity, 900 South St., Vicksburg, Miss., 39180.

Wilma Pollard Wactor

OAK GROVE, La. Wilma Pollard Wactor died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004 at Morehouse General Hospital in Bastrop, La. She was 88.

Mrs. Wactor was preceded in death by her parents, William E. and Sarah Pollard.

She is survived by her husband, Claxton H. Wactor; two daughters, Kathryn Mizell of Big Piney, Wyo., and Letrice “Lee” Cedotal of Simsboro, La.; a son, Ken Keiffer Wactor of Monroe, La.; five granddaughters; five grandsons; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Oak Grove with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Jinks and the Rev. Jimbo Herring officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
