Bobby Charles Bradley

UTICA Bobby Charles Bradley died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, as a result of a gunshot wound. He was 47.

Mr. Bradley was a resident of Utica.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Westhaven Memorial Funeral Home in Utica. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Copiah County.

Delner Shorter

EDWARDS Services for Delner “Louise” Shorter will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Valley M.B. Church with the Rev. Alex Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Shorter died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. She was 63.

Born in Vicksburg, she was a resident of Edwards and was retired from Harrah’s Casino.

Her mother, Katie Miller, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Shorter of Edwards; a son, Jimmy Simmons of California; her father, Jesse Miller Sr. of Edwards; two stepdaughters, Teresa Shorter and Robin Shorter, both of California; three brothers, Jesse Miller Jr., Lee Miller and Mack Miller, all of Chicago; a granddaughter; and other relatives and friends, including Mary Whitley and Margaret Chriss, both of Vicksburg.
