Porters Chapel Academy may face their second straight off week this week after Union Academy said it would likely not play.
PCA coach Randy Wright said Union officials said the area around Georgetown and the school was without power, water and gas. The team had been unable to practice.
Wright said he made several different offers in an effort to play the game. He added that the Mississippi Private School Association was meeting today and a decision was expected late this afternoon.
Wright said he has been in contact with a couple other MPSA schools about possibly playing on Friday, but nothing has been finalized.
PCA is 2-0 and has outscored its opponents 98-0.
