A pair of Jackson basketball powerhouses will invade Warren Central today and Friday for the annual Warren Central Classic.

Callaway and Jim Hill will join Vicksburg and host Warren Central in the four-team tournament.

Callaway will open the tournament against Vicksburg’s girls at 4 p.m., followed by Vicksburg’s boys against the Chargers.

Jim Hill is scheduled to play Warren Central at 7 for the girls and 8:30 for the boys.

The championship games are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday for the girls and 8:30 for the boys.

This weekend, St. Aloysius will host the Catholic Schools Tournament. The Flashes and Lady Flashes will play Greenville-St. Joe in the first round on Friday night.

Gulfport-St. John will also participate in the tournament, and has a bye in the first round.
