Charles Barnes

Services for Charles Barnes will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Second Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Utica.

Visitation will be from 2 until 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Barnes died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005, at Delta Regional Medical Center in Washington County as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was 41.

A lifelong resident of Vicksburg, he was the son of the late Frank Wright Sr. and Johnnie B. Barnes. He worked for Waring Oil company as a truck driver.

Mr. Barnes was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by three daughters, including Franchecka Barnes of Vicksburg and Sharlena Miller of Jackson; seven brothers, his twin Chester Barnes and Derrolle Barnes, both of Vicksburg, Oscar Barnes Sr. of Killeen, Texas, James Wright of Utica, and Frank Wright Jr., Willie Wright and Robert Wright, all of Milwaukee, Wis.; three sisters, Eva Wright and Willie Mae Wright, both of Chicago, and Helen Mae Wright Myles of Utica; two grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives, including members of the Barnes and Marbra families.
