MONTGOMERY, Ala. – John David Thompson died Jan. 18, 2006, at his home in Montgomery, Ala., after a fire at the home. He was 3.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Cassie and Clara Jackson; and grandparents James Franklin and Mary Megar.

Survivors include his parents, Dewayne and Rachael Thompson of Montgomery; a sister, Leslie Thompson of Montgomery; a brother, James Dennis Thompson of Montgomery; a paternal grandmother, Sybil Thompson; a step-paternal grandfather, Halford Harold, both of Vicksburg; and a paternal grandfather, David Thompson, and a step-paternal grandmother, Maudie Thompson, both of Drew, Miss.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Bishop Robert Wallace officiating. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until the hour of service at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg.
