Joe Hilton Davis died Saturday, May 27, 2006, at River Region Medical Center. He was 54.

Mr. Davis was a native of Vicksburg and lived in Memphis for many years. He moved back to Vicksburg six months ago.

He is survived by a son, Jessie Davis of Little Rock, Ark.; three daughters, Jody Johnson of Madison and Tracey Cotten and Tamya Johnston, both of Benton; four brothers, Billy Davis of Hernando, Danny Davis of Texas, Michael Davis of Hernando and Craig Worthy of Pensacola, Fla.; three sisters, Theresa Gregg of Vicksburg, Diane Logan of Memphis and Melody Nordstrom of Vicksburg; his step-mother, Ruby Davis of Hernando; and six grandchildren.

Private services will be held with Glenwood Funeral Home in charge.
