A string of residential and auto burglaries in several areas of Warren County was believed solved Thursday when sheriff’s deputies and Vicksburg police arrested two groups authorities say were working together in the crimes.
So far, seven handguns, five cell phones, an IPod, several hundred dollars worth of jewelry, more than $2,000 cash and other merchandise purchased with $800 in stolen money have been recovered.
Three Vicksburg men appeared this morning in Warren County Justice Court to face multiple burglary charges and three juveniles were turned over to Youth Court to face the same charges, Sheriff Martin Pace said.

“We’re not suggesting that one single person was involved in all of the burglaries, but we will say all six people are responsible for all of the burglaries,” he said.
