LOUISVILLE, Miss. – Louise Moody Lipscomb died Friday, Aug. 18, 2006, at home with family in Louisville, Miss. She was 83.

Mrs. Lipscomb, a housewife, was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of more than 60 years, William J. Lipscomb; two daughters, Sandra Pickett of Louisville and Dorothy Mitchell of Cedar Bluff; a son, Dr. Eddie Lipscomb of Port Gibson; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Good Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Ingram officiating. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight today at Nowell Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until the service at Good Hope Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the church.
