Richard William &#8220Dick” Davidson died Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at River Region Medical Center. He was 62.

Mr. Davidson was born in Chicago and had been a resident of Vicksburg most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army, and was an employee of LeTourneau Inc., for 27 years. Mr. Davidson was a driver for Falco Lime Inc. for the past 10 years. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert &#8220Bob” Davidson and Bess Nevels Davidson; and two daughters, Donna Hynum and Tammy Hilderbrand.

Survivors include his wife, Ann F. Davidson of Vicksburg; four sons, Bobby Mabbitt of Piqua, Ohio; Richard William Davidson Jr. of Vicksburg; Jody Steen of Clinton, Miss.; and Tony Davidson of Vicksburg; three daughters, Renee Bowers of Vicksburg; Bonnie Wilson of Ruth, Miss.; and Buffy Crowder of Vicksburg; a sister, Bobbie Hogg of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Riles Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry White, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday night from 5 to 7 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Nathon Oakes, Eddie Grant, Dickie Harmon, John Thomas, Larry Stewart, Leothis Webb, Johnny Williams, James Watson and Billy Chapin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Freeter Moorehouse, Pam Morgan, Barbara Wilkinson and Roxanne Gay.

Billy Joe Fuller.

Billy Joe Fuller died Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at River Region Medical Center. He was 62.

Born in Lawrence County, Miss., he was the son of the late Hezzie Fuller and Marie Ballard Fuller. A resident of Vicksburg for the past 41 years, Mr. Fuller was a welder with LeTourneau with 29 years of service. For the past 12 years, he was employed by George Carr as a sales associate. Mr. Fuller was a member of Grace Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Fuller of Vicksburg; two sons, Dwayne Fuller and his wife, Lana, of Vicksburg, and Bobby Joe Fuller and his wife, Kim, of Vicksburg; four grandchildren, Emily Diane Fuller, Billy Clint Fuller, Jesse Dalton Fuller and Abby Claire Fuller; and two sisters, Aby Smith of Brookhaven, Miss., and Diann Jordan of Brookhaven, Miss.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Riles Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Brumfield and the Rev. Sam Dunaway officiating. Burial will be in the Yokena Cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 2 to 5 p.m.

The family wishes to thank the physicians, nurses and staff of the Vicksburg Cancer Clinic and River Region Medical Center for their love and concern for Billy Joe.

Jerry Wayne Speights Sr.

Jerry Wayne Speights Sr. died Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, in Prentiss, Miss. He was 58.

Born in Carson, Miss., he had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1965. Mr. Speights served in the Navy and was a supervisor for LeTourneau with over 40 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Lyn S. Speights of Vicksburg; three sons, Wayne Speights and his wife, Tara, of Vicksburg, Eddie Speights and his wife, Mary, of Vicksburg, and John Paul Speights of Vicksburg; three grandchildren, John Michael Speights, Sophie Speights and Anna Catherine Speights; his father, Willard Speights of Carson; and a brother, Kendall Speights of Carson.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bobbie Dyess Speights.

A funeral mass will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Catholic Church with Father Patrick Farrell and the Rev. Sam Dunaway officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Riles Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Riles Funeral Home with prayers at 6:30 p.m. and visitation will continue from 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Catholic Church until the hour of the service.

Omelia Miller.

Omelia Miller died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, at her residence. She was 103.

Mrs. Miller was a retired domestic worker and attended First Baptist Church, Lane Street.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Emma Russell; husband, Charlie Miller; son, Preston Kline; and sister, Dora Lee Russell.

Survivors include a sister, Sara Gaines, and grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Lane Street, with the Rev. Roosevelt Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
