Gloria T. Branche &#8220Cricket” died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, at River Region Medical Center. She was 96.

A homemaker, Mrs. Branche was a member of Friendship M.B. Church in Edwards.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Branche Sr.; her mother, Emma McGowan; and a son, Windolyn Branche.

She is survived by a son, Virgil Branche Jr. of Chicago; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
