Johnnie Shepard.

Johnnie Shepard died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, at his home after a lengthy illness. He was 76.

Mr. Shepard was a retired truck driver and a member of Greater Mt. Zion M.B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louise and Cardale Shepard; his wife, Evelyn Robinson McFadden Shepard; and two sisters, Francis Shepard Van Hook and Irene Shepard Morris.

Survivors include two daughters, Denise Stewart of Upper Marlboro, Md., and Debra Madlock of Bowie, Md.; a sister, Magnolia Shepard Wiley of St. Louis; and a brother, Greene Shepard of Santa Costa, Calif.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Greater Mt. Zion M.B. Church with the Rev. Gregory Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the church.
