Louis Bailey.

Louis Bailey died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, at River Region Medical Center. He was 51.

Mr. Bailey was born in Warren County to the late Florence Whitley Bailey and the late L.D. Nailor. He attended Rosa A. Temple High School and was a member of New Mount Pilgrim M.B. Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Ruby Burton.

Survivors include three aunts, Ruby Thomas and Earline Nailor, both of Vicksburg, and Leatha Whitley of Austin, Texas; one uncle William Whitley; and other relatives and friends, including Rose Lee Tenner, Anthony Williams, Glenn, Mary Hunter, Loretta Anderson, Arma Lee and members of the Johnson, Whitley, Carson, Ross, Nailor, King, Wheatley and Jones families.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at New Mount Pilgrim M.B. Church with the Rev. Henry Williams officiating.

Visitation will be from noon until 6 p.m. Wednesday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Freddie Leake.

CENTREVILLE – Freddie Leake died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. He was 68.

A native of Woodville, Mr. Leake retired as an engineer from Waterways Experiment Station after 38 years. He was a member of Mississippi National Guard and Woodville Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick P. and Mary Boatner Leake.

He is survived by a stepmother, Julia Leake Wells of Woodville; numerous cousins and friends, including James Brogan.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Newman Funeral Home in Woodville with the Rev. Tom Sexton officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Maude E. Tower.

Maude E. &#8220Peggy” Tower died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. She was 92.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard B. Tower; two brothers and two sisters.

Ms. Tower was born Maude E. Lambeth in Spring Creek, Mo., but was known to all as &#8220Peggy.” She lived most of her life in Rolla and was a member of First Christian Church in Rolla.

She is survived by her brother, James Lambeth of Plainview, Ill.; her son, Ronald H. Tower of Vicksburg; two grandchildren, Kris and Tracy; and two great-grandchildren, Kamron and Anastasia Tower.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla, followed by services at 11.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
