Ida McCay.

PATTISON – Funeral services for Ida McCay will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Whitehall M.B. Church in Pattison with the Rev. Leroy Dee officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until the hour of service at the church under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson.

Ms. McCay died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. She was 89.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Hannah Harris-McCay; three brothers, James McCay, Robert McCay and Matt McCay; four sisters, Clara Buck, Daisy Foster, Julia Jenkins and Bonnie Bell Jones.

She is survived by a niece, Jimmie Stewart of Pattison; and other relatives, including Johnnie McCay of Pattison.

LORMAN – Funeral services for Shirley Alexander-Williams will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Christian Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Walter Chambers officiating. Burial will follow at McCay Cemetery in Lorman. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 tonight at Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson and from noon Saturday until the hour of service at the church.

Mrs. Williams died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, at University Medical Center in Jackson. She was 51.

She was a member of Rose Hill Christian Church.

She is survived by her mother, Lola Davis of Lorman; her father, Freddie L. Alexander Sr. of Port Gibson; her husband, Harry Williams of Marrero, La.; a son, Darryl Jones of Port Gibson; three daughters, Shelia Jones of Port Gibson, Christy Jones and Angelia Williams, both of Lorman; four brothers, Freddie Alexander Jr. of Dallas, Bobby Alexander and Donald Alexander, both of Lorman, and Fredrick Alexander of Fayette; six sisters, Glendora Alexander-Muhammed, Carolyn Rowan, Francine Reed, Stacy White and Wendy McCall, all of Port Gibson, and Delphine Alexander-Turner of Vicksburg; 11 grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
