Betty Jane Cameron Glatt

PRAIRIEVILLE, La. – Betty Jane Cameron Glatt died Thursday, March 8, 2007, in Prairieville, La. She was 73.

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas George and Mary Rebecca Greer Cameron.

She is survived by her husband, Percy Allen Glatt Sr. of Prairieville; a daughter, Mary Lee Glatt of Prairieville; two sons, Thomas Glatt of Prairieville and David Cameron Glatt of Gonzales, La.; a brother, Duane Greer Cameron of Florida; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Vicksburg with Glenwood Funeral Home in charge.

Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.

Louella A. Harris

Services for Louella A. Harris will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Herman Sylvester officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 until 7 tonight at the funeral home and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.

Mrs. Harris died Thursday, March 1, 2007, at River Region Medical Center. She was 87.

A retired beautician, Mrs. Harris was a member of American Legion Tyner-Ford Post 213 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of Pleasant Green M.B. Church, where she was in the Senior Choir.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Harris; two sisters, Willie Jessie Pollard and Val Ree Sally Green; her mother, Sarah Patton; and her father.

She is survived by a brother, John Pickens of Fort Worth, Texas.

Sebron Jones Jr.

LORMAN – Services for Sebron Jones Jr. will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at China Grove Baptist Church in Russum with the Revs. Larry Clark and Leon Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at McCay Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 tonight at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Port Gibson and from 10 a.m. Saturday until the hour of service at the church.

Mr. Jones died Sunday, March 4, 2007, at Veterans Administration Nursing Home in Jackson. He was 74.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a member of Morningstar M.B. Church and the Baptist aid.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sebron and Mattie B. Singleton-Jones Sr.; and two brothers, Bennie Jones and Ernest Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel Jones of Port Gibson; six sons, Arnold Jones of Natchez, Michael Jones of Port Gibson, Sebron Jones III of Jefferson City, Mo., Dwayne Jones of Lorton, Va., Marlon Jones of Vicksburg and Brent Jones of Fayette; a daughter, Deborah Heath of Lorman; two stepsons, Dwayne O’Quinn and Robert Reed, both of Port Gibson; two stepdaughters, Yolanda Reed of Port Gibson and Belinda Trenell of Bloomington, Ill.; two sisters, Lola Davis of Lorman and Dora Tidwell of Chicago; 21 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
