Juliette Ada Bouie

JOLIET, Ill. – Juliette Ada Bouie died Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at her home in Joliet. She was 72.

Mrs. Bouie had worked at the Joliet Correctional Center until 1998, when she retired.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. Redus and Catherine Chambers; her husband, Thomas Bouie; and two brothers, Redus Chambers Jr. and Johnny P. Chambers.

She is survived by six daughters, Doris Murrell, Evon Harrington, Brendia Coffee, Tommie Jean Bouie, Darlene Hill and Cassandra Bouie; five sons, Curtis Chambers, Lucius Chambers, Moses Warfield, Dwayne Bouie and Antoniao Bouie Jr.; 25 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Beatrice Chambers; and three brothers, Thomas Chambers, Douglas Chambers and Augustus Chambers, all of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Elmhurst Cemetery in Joliet and at 7 p.m. at St. James Community C.O.G.I.C. with the Rev. James H. Hamilton Sr. officiating.

Visitation will be at Minor-Morris Funeral Home from 2 until 4 p.m. Monday and at St. James from 6 p.m. until the service Tuesday.

Steve Sheriff

RAYMOND – Steve Sheriff died Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was 46.

He is survived by his wife, Shelia Sheriff of Raymond; a stepson, a brother, a sister and other relatives, including Walter Sheriff of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Greater Mount Zion in Raymond under the direction of Westhaven Funeral Home in Utica.
