Pageant scholarships, cash and in-kind, at $666,000 this year|[07/16/07]

The Miss Mississippi Corporation distributed $127,300 in cash scholarships to the 47 contestants in town for the 50th Miss Missisippi Pageant in Vicksburg.

Additionally, the corporation offered $539,092 in in-kind scholarships.

The production here was the nation’s first to award scholarships to all contestants – and that continued for the 2007 event.
