Juanita Washington Davis

Juanita Washington Davis died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, at River Region Medical Center. She was 74.

A Vicksburg native, Mrs. Davis spent a number of years in Oakland, Calif., before returning to Vicksburg in 1989. She was a member of Triumph Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Pearlie Latham Washington; her husband, Lee Davis; three sisters, Henrietta Ross, Gladys Washington and Walterine Washington; and two brothers, George Washington and James Washington.

She is survived by three sons, Lamar Davis of Oakland, Eric Davis of Battle Creek, Mich., and Zalamar Davis of Vicksburg; one brother, Johnny &#8220Stepper” Washington of Vicksburg; one sister, Bobbie Dolly of West Palm Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives, including Yvonne and Vonna
