Nettie Pearl Ryan

BENTONIA – Nettie Pearl Ryan died Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, at her home in Bentonia. She was 67.

Mrs. Ryan was a member of Ogden Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Herbert Dement; and brother, Herbert Cecil Dement.

She is survived by her husband, Horace Ryan of Bentonia; her daughter, Lisa Womack of Bentonia; her son, Allen Ryan of Bentonia; her mother, Gertrude Busby Dement of Yazoo City; three sisters, Audrey James and Emma Tennant, both of Vicksburg, and Margie Dorrell of Yazoo City; two brothers, James Dement of Utica and Howard Dement of Vicksburg; three grandchildren, one great-grandson and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Stricklin-King Funeral Home in Yazoo City with the Revs. Andy Delancey and Ricky Dorrell officiating. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Yazoo City.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 tonight at Stricklin-King Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be William Gilmore, Marty Dement, Currey Mullins, Jeffery Potter, Walter Tennant, Matt Dement and Mark Dement.

Honorary pallbearers will be Max New and Nonnie McGraw.
