Ora Lee King
Ora Lee “Moose” King died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, at her home in Vicksburg. She was 77.
Mrs. King retired from the University of California, Berkeley, after 25 years of service as a caterer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry Miller Sr. and Julia Ragan Marley.
Survivors include one son, William Miller of Orlando; one brother, William H. Miller Jr. of Florissant, Mo.; two sisters, Maggie Miller Fields of Clarksdale and Katherine Jackson of Los Angeles; her granddaughter and caregiver, Allison Tunstall of Vicksburg; two additional grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends, including Willie Neal, Dorothy Warren, Barbara Beauman, Mary Tyson and Valerie Grant and members of the Ragan, Scott, Flowers, Sharp and Miller families.
Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Cynthia Miller
Services for Cynthia Miller will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Williams Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 6 tonight at the funeral home.
Ms. Miller died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, at River Region Medical Center. She was 45.
She was a member of Shady Grove M.B. Church.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Mann and Fannie Weatherspoon; and her stepfather, Sheffield Reddick.
Survivors include her mother, Vera Reddick of Vicksburg; her father, George Scott of Pontiac, Mich.; two sisters, Donna Hall of Vicksburg and Regina Scott of Pontiac; three brothers, David Miller of Vicksburg, Herman Reddick of Champagne, Ill., and Darryl Scott of Pontiac; her grandmother, Eddie Lee Vaughn of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other relatives and friends, including Stephanie N. Ross of Memphis, Jason E. Johnson of Houston, Kimberly Miller-Hall and Shanekia Miller of Vicksburg.
Irma Reimer Triplett
TALLULAH — Irma Reimer Triplett died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. She was 84.
Mrs. Triplett was born in Preleberg, Germany, and had lived in Tallulah for 20 years. A homemaker, she attended First Baptist Church of Tallulah.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Margaret Edleston of Tallulah and Elizabeth Pryor of Tampa, Fla.; four sons, Stuart Triplett of Fort Desoto, Fla., Thomas Triplett of St. Petersburg, Fla., William James Triplett of Tampa and George Triplett of Mountain City, Tenn.; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Olive Branch Senior Care Center Chapel with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating.

Rufus W. Wilson
Rufus W. Wilson died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, at Veteran’s Nursing Home in Jackson. He was 73.
Born and educated in Vicksburg, Mr. Wilson had served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was a member of Greater Mount Zion M.B. Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommie Wilson and Lutetia Turner Wilson; a brother, Louis Clarence Wilson; and his wife, Bessie Lee Thomas Wilson.
He is survived by two sons, Keefe Lavell Wilson of Japan and Darryl Tynell Wilson of Lafayette, La.; a sister, Azilee Jennings of Vicksburg; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
