Henderson finishes first at JPS meet|[03/26/08]

Warren Central’s David Henderson finished first in the shot put, with a throw of 46 1/2 feet, to help Warren Central to a third-place team finish at the Jackson Public Schools Track Meet on Tuesday.

Eric Williston was a winner for WC in the pole vault, with a jump of 10 feet, 6 inches in the pole vault. Teammate Josh Perry was second. The Vikings also swept the 1,600-meter run, with Paul Hancock winning in 5 minutes and 9 seconds, and Ulf Hage finishing second.

Joe Harris was second to Henderson in the shot put, Gary Taylor finished second in the 400 meter dash, and WC picked up extra points with seven other top-five performances.
