Darla Jeanine Leist Sanders

Darla Jeanine Leist Sanders died Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at her home surrounded by the love of her family. She was 47. For a number of years Darla was employed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. She was a devout Christian, a devoted and loving mother and a beloved daughter and sister. She will be missed, but never forgotten.

She is survived by her husband, Ben Sanders of Vicksburg; a daughter, Leslie Sanders of Vicksburg; her parents, Fred and Betty Leist of Vicksburg; two sisters, Teri Conerly and Janet Farris, both of Vicksburg; three brothers, the Rev. Fred Leist Jr. of Kearney, Mo., Steve Leist and Billy Leist, both of Vicksburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Riles Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Leist Jr. and the Rev. Charles Leist officiating. Burial will be at Green Acres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Friday until the hour of the service.

Pallbearers will be Chase Conerly, J.C. Conerly, Daniel Edwards, John Farris, Nolan Farris and Colin Leach.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Leist and Steve Leist.

Andrew James Wilson

EDWARDS — Andrew James “A.J.” Wilson died Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was 74.

Formerly of Edwards, Mr. Wilson was a Clinton resident.

Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
