Sweet tastes and sweet sounds will be on the menu this weekend as Warren Central High School’s show choir presents its spring show.
Total Sound’s “After” Dinner Theater will be Friday and Saturday night. Cost is $10 per person, and tickets must be purchased in advance.
“It’s a sit-down show with a dessert buffet,” said Warren Central choral director Nancy Robertson. “You name it; we’re gonna have it.”
For those counting calories, fruit will be offered, along with coffee and soft drinks.
In addition to the 36 members of Total Sound, the show will feature the 22 school’s Madrigals members. The Madrigals group presents a show in the fall, while Total Sound performs in the spring. Each group is made up of freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors.
Robertson described the event as a variety show. Music will include choral and dance numbers, including selections from popular movies such as “Shrek,” “Hairspray” and “Cars.” The show will also feature soloists, guitarists, the Total Sound band and a stomp act, Robertson said.
