Woman reports attack, burglary at her home on Freetown Road|[04/19/08]

A woman in her 50s reported an attack Thursday night at her Freetown Road home, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.
According to Pace, the woman said she heard a window break. When she went to see what happened, a man assaulted her.
The intruder also stole cash and a debit card, then fled on foot, Pace said the woman said.
The attack and burglary were reported about 10:30 p.m.
“Right now we’re searching extensively, but have not made an arrest,” Pace said Friday night.
The suspect was described by the victim as black, about 5-foot-8 and muscular.
Wreck on I-20 at Bovina backs up traffic for hour
A Thursday afternoon collision of a passenger vehicle and an 18-wheeler on Interstate 20 near the Bovina exit caused two other wrecks, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.
“It was just kind of a domino affect,” Pace said.
The wrecks were reported about 1:30 p.m.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded and was assisted by the Warren County Sheriff’s Deparmtent.
Agents with the Mississippi Highway Patrol could not be reached for comment Friday night.
Pace did not have the names or conditions of the passengers.
Traffic was backed up on Interstate 20 for about an hour, he added.
