Fifteen basketball teams in three different age groups began play today in the Mississippi AAU state basketball tournament at Warren Central.

The girls 13-under, 14-under and junior divisions will play throughout today, Saturday and Sunday. The winners of each division will be eligible to play in the national tournament.

Warren County, a team made up of Warren Central players, has a team in each division.

Warren Central’s 14-under team played this morning at 8:30, while the Junior team is scheduled to play tonight at 8:30. The Junior team is made up of WC’s varsity basketball team.

The 13-under group is scheduled to play Saturday morning at 8:30.
