Cigars, air conditioner missing in burglaries|[06/05/08]

An air conditioner and boxes of cigars were reported missing in city and county burglaries reported Wednesday and this morning.

At 11:52 a.m. Wednesday, Vicksburg Police received a report of a residential burglary in the 1900 block of Main Street. Reported missing was an LG window AC unit valued at $120. Vicksburg Lt. Bobby Stewart said the burglars gained entrance through a rear door.

Four cartons of cigars were reported stolen in a residential burglary in the 4300 block of Nailor Road. The theft was reported to the Warren County Sheriff’s Department at 5:15 a.m. today. The cigars were valued at $75.
