Ruby Doyle

Services for Ruby Doyle will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Curtis Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Doyle died Thursday, June 19, 2008, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. She was 79.

Born in Warren County, Mrs. Doyle was a retired domestic worker. She was of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lubertha Martin Doyle; five brothers, Willie Doyle, Ivory Doyle, Mack Henry Doyle, Robert Doyle and Charles Doyle; and one sister, Arzenetta Doyle.

Survivors include a son, Mark Doyle of Vicksburg; one brother, Bobby Doyle of Vicksburg; two sisters, Verna Mae Doyle of Vicksburg and Effie Doyle Claxton of Huntsville, Ala.; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

James Lucas Price Jr.

James Lucas Price Jr. died Sunday, June 29, 2008, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. He was 65.

Mr. Price was born in Warren County.

He was preceded in death by his father, James “Jim” Price; his mother, Azalene “Nap” Neal Price; two brothers, Eugene Price and Bobby Price; and one sister, Mary Price Lewis.

Survivors include three brothers, Johnny Lee Price of Chicago, Charles E. Price of Vicksburg and Eddie Ray Price of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Azalene Price and Dr. Brenda E. Price-Taylor, both of Chicago; and other relatives, including members of the Sweet, Price, Neal, Gibson and Barnes families of Vicksburg.

W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
