A Vicksburg man was arrested following a routine traffic stop in the 2700 block of Alcorn Drive.
Alonzo Curtis, Jr., 26, 230 Curry St., was charged Thursday with possession of cocaine, Vicksburg Police Lt. Bobby Stewart said.
Curtis was held without bond because he was already out on bond from previous charges at the time of the arrest, Stewart said.
Vicksburg woman charged with forgery, counterfeiting
A Vicksburg woman was arrested in the 4300 block of Halls Ferry Road at 3:03 p.m. Thursday.
Lacole Williams, 24, 64 Willie Lane, was charged with uttering forgery and possession of a counterfeit instrument, said Vicksburg Police Lt. Bobby Stewart.
Williams’ bond was set at $15,000, she posted it Friday and was released from Warren County Jail.
Jewelry, air conditioner reported stolen in city
Jewelry and an air conditioner were reported stolen Thursday, Lt. Bobby Stewart said:
A diamond cluster ring valued at $200, a gold chain valued at $100 and an emerald ring valued at $150 were reported stolen at 3:58 p.m. in the 300 block of Locust Street.
A 3-ton air conditioning unit valued at $2,500 was reported stolen from a home in the 3500 block of Oak Street.
