A free workshop for parents with questions on obtaining visitation rights to their children will be at 9 a.m. Aug. 9 at the Warren County-Vicksburg Public Library, 700 Veto St.
Staff attorneys with the Mississippi Department of Human Services will address topics including petitioning to cite for contempt and filing motions to obtain visitation rights, a release from the agency said.
Other issues expected to be discussed include problems experienced in seeing children even when visitation has been legally established.
Workshops are sponsored by the department’s Division of Child Support Enforcement Access and Visitation Program.
