Bovina Elementary School will remain true to its roots.

Once again, students at the school will be the orange and white Bovina Giants – in keeping with the mascot and colors the school claimed until it closed in 1999.

“We are planning to have students wear spirit T-shirts every Friday, but it’ll be a few weeks after school starts before we can start that routine,” said Miki Ginn, principal of Bovina. “While other schools already have a PTO, we will be beginning that program after school starts. Getting the spirit T-shirts will be a top priority.”

Students will follow the North Zone dress code – red or white tops with khaki or navy bottoms.
