Favre should give a close look at making the Jets winners

Dear Brett Favre.
I have been following your summer with great anticipation wondering if those tears shed in March were real or fabricated. I really believed that this was the one that would stick, that you would retire on the heels of one of your finest seasons in memory, live out your days riding the tractor and throwing footballs in the front yard of your Hattiesburg ranch.
Now you want to come back to a team that doesn’t want you and won’t trade you to the teams that really do want you. The Packers are so interested in you not playing, they have offered you an exorbitant salary not to show up. Brett, are you kidding me? If that offer ever crossed my desk, well, this keyboard would be mighty lonely.
But I can understand that the desire to play and to win is still there, but will the opportunities to win still be there. By all accounts, it seems like Tampa Bay wants you, but haven’t you gotten used to playing in chilly weather? Nothing chilly about Tampa.
Then there are the New York Jets, who just happen to play in a chilly climate and are accustomed to winning
