Some familiar names and a couple of newcomers highlight the championship flight at the Warren County Championships at Clear Creek Golf Course in Bovina.

The final round is scheduled for today with the lead group teeing off at 10:50 a.m.

Mike Hurley shot a Saturday-best 69 and led defending champion Chase Smith by one stroke. Joe Grayson also shot a 70 and Warren Central Junior High student Parker Rutherford shot a 72. Those four will comprise the lead group.

Don Lagrone and Mark White each shot 74s and Quinton Lovens, Matt Bell, Phillip Young and Jeff Cowan all shot 75s to fill out the lead group.

Pam Thomas leads big at ladies championship

Pam Thomas shot a 76 for a 10-stroke lead at the Warren County Ladies Championship at Clear Creek Golf Course.

Charlene Hughes shot an 86, while Karen Carroll shot an 88 and Wanda Caruthers shot an 89 to round out the championship flight.
