Tucker James Collin
TALLULAH – Tucker James Collins, infant son of Kevin and Candice Collins of Tallulah, died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at River Oaks Hospital.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Madeline Collins and Emma Collins, both of Tallulah; his maternal grandparents, Ronnie and Flo Kennedy and Margaret and Tommy Leoty Jr.; his paternal grandparents, Donald and Jeannie Collins of Tallulah; and other relatives.
Private services will be Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah with Fred Fulton officiating, assisted by John Cavenaugh. Burial will follow under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at First United Methodist Church in Tallulah.
Rhody Campbell Dolly
Services for Rhody Campbell Dolly will be at noon Wednesday at Travis Chapel A.M.E. Church with the Rev. Horace McKay officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 7 tonight at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dolly died Monday, Aug. 18, 2008, at River Region Medical Center. She was 98.
Mrs. Dolly was a member of Travis Chapel A.M.E. Church, where she was on the usher and stewardess boards. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Limus and Sally Kemper Campbell; one daughter, Bessie Lee Thomas; one son, William Dolly; two sisters, Melvina Bryant and Willie Mae Cato; one brother; and her husband, McKinley Dolly.
Survivors include three sons, John Wesley Dolly of West Palm Beach, Fla., Joseph D. Campbell of Memphis and George Thomas of Valley, Ala.; two sisters, Mary Head of Vicksburg and Lubertha Harris of Milwaukee; grandchildren, including her caregiver John A. Thomas of Vicksburg; and great-grandchildren.
Edward Lee Habeeb
Edward Lee Habeeb died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, at River Region Medical Center. He was 87.
Mr. Habeeb had lived most of his life in Vicksburg. During World War II, he lived for a number of years in Memphis where he worked in an aircraft factory. He returned in 1944 to Vicksburg, where he and his father operated the Habeeb Grocery on Clay Street.
Mr. Habeeb retired in 1990. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Chrislee Marie Habeeb; his parents, Michael and Lena K. Habeeb; one sister, Helen Robinson; and two brothers, Michael Habeeb II and Paul Nicholas Habeeb.
Survivors include his wife, Chris B. Habeeb of Vicksburg; two daughters, Linda Habeeb Thill and husband Ted of Richmond, Va., and Paula Habeeb Wall and husband Larry of Birmingham, Ala.; one brother, Dr. Albert Habeeb of New Orleans; one sister, Florence Cordell-Reeh of New Orleans; and two grandchildren, Bryson Edward Habeeb Wall of Birmingham and Anna Catherine Thill of Richmond.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Episcopal Church with the Rev. Chan Osborn de Anaya officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the hour of the service.

Solomon Harris Sr.
Services for Solomon Harris Sr. will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Williams Funeral Service with the Rev. Willie Earl Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service.
Mr. Harris died Monday, Aug. 18, 2008, at River Region Medical Center. He was 44.
Mr. Harris was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosalie Harris Taylor and Squire Harris; a sister, Clottie Rounds; and his grandfather, Dan Harris.
Survivors include five sons, Solomon Harris Jr., Roosevelt Harris, James Morris, Maurice Morris and David Robinson, all of Vicksburg; one daughter, Christine Morris of Vicksburg; his grandmother, Clottie Anderson of Vicksburg; a brother, Roosevelt Rounds of Vicksburg; five sisters, Betty Harris of Eudora, Ark., and Bobbie Rounds, Sharon Becker, Rosalie Becker and Joanna Atlas, all of Vicksburg; four grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including Telisa Morris, Johnny Reynolds and Lucinda Williams, all of Vicksburg, Dan Harris Jr. of Cleveland and Minnie Denson of Jackson.
John M. McClelland
John M. McClelland died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was 28.
A native of Brookhaven, Mr. McClelland had lived in Vicksburg for the past two years. He was an operations supervisor for Hancor Inc. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Brookhaven.
He is survived by his wife, Maggie McClelland of Vicksburg; one daughter, Jordan McClelland of Vicksburg; his parents, Wayne and Ann McClelland of Wesson; a brother, Michael McClelland of Wesson; and a sister, Kimberly Edwards of Brookhaven.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Matt Buckles officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the service.
Pallbearers will be David Lee, Mark Brooks, Jason Gordon, Will Davidson, Chad Ponder and George Baker.
Teresa Box McPhail
Teresa Box McPhail died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland at age 54. Born in Rolling Fork, she had been a Vicksburg resident since 1982.
She was employed in the accounting department at River Region Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Glenda Box; and her husband, Herman McPhail.
She enjoyed her grandchildren, cooking and the outdoors. She enjoyed weekends and holidays in the hills of Winona.
She is survived by daughter, Kristen Sims and her fiance, Roy Sills, of Edwards; stepdaughters, Stephanie Gower and husband Gene of Madison and Tiffanie Shreve and husband Matt of Brandon; father and stepmother, Wayne and Dot Box of Rolling Fork; sisters, Pam Cockrell and husband Danny of Greenville and Jan King and husband Paul of Rolling Fork; two grandchildren, Lane and Lacie Shreve of Brandon; an aunt, Shirley Ervin and husband Douglas of Slidell, La.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mounds Cemetery in Rolling Fork with the Rev. Kuhrman Cox officiating. Visitation will be from 5 until 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.
Pallbearers will be Danny Cockrell, Hubert McPhail, Lee White, Ray Watson, Chance Selman and Hampton Jacks.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Ray McPhail and Carl Mangrum.
