BATESVILLE — Agnes Erna Sorek Billingsley died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at her home in Batesville. She was 78.

Mrs. Billingsley was born in Tscheschendorf, Poland, to the late Andreas and Marie Sorek. A homemaker, she was a member of Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church. She was a member and past matron of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband, Oscar Hiram Billingsley of Batesville; one daughter, Mellie Billingsley of Vicksburg; and two brothers, Helmut Sorek and Siegfried Sorek, both of Germany.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Wells Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Perrow officiating. Burial will follow at Forrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the service.
