Candace Magee, bride-elect of Thomas Tubbs Jr., both of Vicksburg, announces their wedding plans for 4 p.m. Aug. 30, 2008, at Gazebo Lake Reception Hall and Pavilion of Utica. A reception will follow. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Magee is the daughter of O.B. Jr. and Wanda Magee of  Utica.

Mr. Tubbs is the son of Cornelius and Sheryl Walker and Thomas Sr. and Anita Tubbs, all of Vicksburg.

The bride will be given in marriage by Olston Magee of Birmingham, Ala.

Maid of honor will be Machelle Doss of Vicksburg. Matrons of honor will be LaTeshia Slaughter of Vicksburg and Katrina Thomas of Kansas City, Mo.

Bridesmaids will be Joya Scott, Minikka Moore, Sherika Moore, Denise Lewis and Lamika Miller, all of Vicksburg; India Lott of Greenwood; Andrea Magee of Birmingham; and Carmelia Perkins of Conyers, Ga.

Cedric Gleese Sr. of Vicksburg will serve as best man. Groomsmen will be  Tico Wright, Robert Harris, Sedrick Sims, Stanley Gleese, Cordell Gleese, Derrick Adams, Antonio Tubbs, Mario Cason and Gino Williams, all of Vicksburg.

Ushers will be Orien Magee and Patrick Cessna, both of Utica; and Anthony Williams, Darnell Davis, Shawnderrick Carson, Aros Smith and Shawn Harris, all of Vicksburg.
