Maureen C. “Mimi” Burke, bride-elect of Paul D. Speyerer, both of Madison, announces their wedding plans for 4:30 p.m. Sept. 6, 2008, at First Baptist Church chapel in Jackson.

A reception will follow at the Mississippi Museum of Art.

Miss Burke is the daughter of Mike and Marion Burke of Vicksburg and Long Beach.

Mr. Speyerer is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David E. Speyerer of Vicksburg.

The Rev. Ken Kennerly will officiate at the ceremony. The bride will be given in marriage by her father.

Matron of honor will be Emily Burke Ryan of Memphis.

David Speyerer will serve as best man.

Ushers will be Michael C. Burke Jr. of Pass Christian, David Ellis of Clinton and Lee M. Speyerer of Porter, Texas.
