Fortune marries Wilson Aug. 18 in Hattiesburg

Brian Patrick Fortune and Latoya Wilson were married at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 18, 2008, in Hattiesburg.

The bride is the daughter of Booker Sr. and Loretta Wilson of Jackson. She is the granddaughter of Willie Davis of Detroit and Mary Davis and the late Mr. and Mrs. Booker Wilson, all of Grenada.

The groom is the son of Addie and Edwin Mitchell of Vicksburg and Ezra Fortune of Carthage. He is the grandson of Rosilee Lewis of Macon, the late Willie Curtis Harkins of Columbus, the late Mr. and Mrs. Clemon Fortune of Carthage and Nelsie Mitchell of Vicksburg.

The bride is serving in Bagram, Afghanistan, and is a student at the University of Southern Mississippi.

The groom is mobilized at Camp Shelby and will deploy to Afghanistan in January.
