Four men jailed on city, county charges

Four men were arrested and jailed on various charges Thursday and Friday night by the Vicksburg Police and Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

Kenneth Green, 18, 508 Murrays Alley, remained in the Warren County Jail Saturday without bond following his arrest by police Friday on a charge of simple assault of a police office.

Larry Turner, 47, 820 Harris St., remained in the Warren County Jail Saturday with a $20,000 bond following his arrest by police Friday on a sale of cocaine charge.

Kevin Davenport, 31, 1733 Martin Luther King Blvd., remained in the Warren County Jail Saturday without bond following his arrest by sheriff’s deputies Friday on a drug court violation charge.

Kenneth Ross, 18, 380 Spout Spring Road, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Friday on charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and failure to comply. Ross was released from the Warren County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
