Henry Howard Hudson

Henry Howard Hudson died Friday, Aug. 29, 2008, at Covenant Health Rehab Nursing Home in Vicksburg. He was 83.
A native of Copiah County, Mr. Hudson had lived in Vicksburg for 40 years, during which he was a member of the Russellville Hunting Club and retired from Anderson-Tully Company as a supervisor.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Hudson; a son, Mitchell Hudson; a sister, Lola Mae Bassonet; and three brothers, Lee Hudson, Glen Hudson and Robert Hudson.
Survivors include son Michael Hudson of Vicksburg; two daughters, Phyllis Bond of Ottawa, Kan., and Naomi Bartley of Olive, Okla.; his brother Charlie Hudson of Wesson; six sisters, Sadie Carlisle of Vicksburg and Sally Sanders, Susie Morgan, Mary McKee, Myrtle Lambert and Lura Armstrong, all of Wesson; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Glenwood Chapel with burial at Unity Cemetery in Jefferson County. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg.
Pallbearers will be Michael Bassonet, Lee Bond, Danny Prince, Mitchel Bassonet, William “Billy” Brent and John Theiler.
