Iris Marlyne Hancock

RAYMOND — Iris Marlyne Hancock died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was 73.

Born in Germania, Mrs. Hancock lived in Vicksburg before moving to Raymond 10 years ago.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Bill Sellers.

She is survived by her husband, Carley Hancock of Raymond; two daughters, Patricia Graczyk of Lyons, Ill., and Dolores Sellers of Raymond; one sister, Betty Faye Powell of Yazoo City; five grandchildren, Melissa Stoneking, Brad Tanksley, Tammie Brown, Michael Graczyk and Lisa Wadsworth; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John Slade officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Steve Martin, Earl Wayne Powell, Joey Powell, Jeff Martin, Ricky Brown and Rodney Riser.
