St. Aloysius will enter its showdown with Natchez Cathedral on Friday night riding a two-game winning streak.

Brandan Beesley and Regan Nosser each returned an interception for a touchdown to lead the Flashes (2-1) to a 34-7 victory over Salem on Friday night.

Beesley returned an interception 39 yards in the first quarter and Justin Hosemann added a 3-yard scoring plunge to give St. Al a 14-0 lead at halftime.

In the third quarter, Ryno Martin-Nez, who ran 20 times for 95 yards, scored on a 9-yard run for a 21-0 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

In the fourth, Chris Lewis, who completed 5 of 10 passes for 34 yards, hit Nosser on a 10-yard scoring toss. Nosser then ended the scoring with his 48-yard interception return for a 34-0 lead.
