A Vicksburg man was taken to River Region Medical Center Saturday evening after the Ford F-150 truck he was driving northbound on U.S. 61 South veered off the highway, hitting a tree about 200 yards south of Redbone Road.

Gilberto Alfonso Francisco, 2300 Glass Road, was in an undetermined condition and being assessed in the emergency room late Saturday night.

Vicksburg woman arrested for two counts of forgery

A Vicksburg woman was arrested by Warren County authorities Friday and jailed on two counts of uttering a forgery and a charge of possession of counterfeit currency.

Tamisha Stowers, 28, 128 Village Drive, was released from the Warren County Jail on a $30,000 bond Saturday.
