Services for Betty Ruth Waltman will be at 2 p.m. today at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Talbert officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park.

Mrs. Waltman died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was 68.

Born in Isola, Mrs. Waltman had been a Vicksburg resident since 1944. She was retired from Vicksburg Medical Center. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Waltman Sr. of Vicksburg; three sons, Tom French of Hot Springs, Ark., Keith French of Burlington, N.C., and Gary Waltman Jr. of Huntsville, Ala.; three daughters, Tina Waltman of Pass Christian, Velvet Waltman of Bay St. Louis and Karen Waltman of Lafayette, Ind.; three brothers, Billy Welch and David Welch, both of Vicksburg, and Jerry Welch of Beaumont, Texas; two sisters, Jo Ann French of Atlanta and Annette Blades of Marks; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Curtis Blades, Doug Brown, B.J. Welch, Vince Welch, Bill Fulcher and John Kleinman.
