CARY — Hunter Eugene Hoye died Monday, Sept. 15, 2008, at his home in Cary. He was 40.

Mr. Hoye was a member of New Fitler Hunting Club.

He is survived by two sons, Hunter Hoye III and Derrick Hoye; three daughters, Rhonda Hoye, Debra Hoye and Teiara Sanders; his father and stepmother, Walter and Sadie Hoye; his mother and stepfather, Annie Mae Montgomery and Preston Montgomery; his biological father, Hunter Newell; six brothers, Walter Buckner Jr., Hunter Newell Jr., Travis Newell, David Newell, Jimmy Perkins and Fred Perkins; nine sisters, Jacqueline Binder, Gloria Joyce Hoye, Diane Hoye Shelton, Wandra Williams, Kathy Johnson, Janice Rhodes, Sharon Stewart, Patricia Jackson and Augustine Savannah; his grandmother, Elnoria Alford; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including Theresa Sanders.

Services will be at noon Saturday at Mount Zion M.B. Church in Cary with Pastor Melton Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Cary Community Cemetery.
