Robert and Cynthia Keyes of Edwards announce the engagement of their daughter, Cari, to Scott Landers. Mr. Landers is the son of Jere Landers and Butch Landers, both of Vicksburg.

Miss Keyes is the granddaughter of the late Emma and Joe Keyes of Tallulah and the late Inez and Leon Britton of Vicksburg.

Mr. Landers is the grandson of Dorothy Griffith and the late Melvin Griffith of Vicksburg and Harvey Landers and the late Betty Landers of Utica.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Warren Central High School. She received an Associate of Applied Sciences in nursing from Mississippi Delta Community College. She was a member of SGA and the Delta Dancers.

Miss Keyes is a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit at Central Mississippi Medical Center.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Warren Central High School.

Mr. Landers is an assistant manager at Palmer Farms of Edwards.

The wedding will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 18, 2008, at the B’nai B’rith Literary Club. A reception will follow.
