Whitehead, Ellis to marry

The engagement of Alice Faye Whitehead of Vicksburg to Dr. Michael Barry Ellis of Port Gibson is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 11 a.m. Oct. 25, 2008, at Immanuel Baptist Church. A reception will follow. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Ms. Whitehead is the daughter of the late Ralph Estes and the late Edith Estes of Lakeland, Fla.

She is a tax associate with May & Company.

Dr. Ellis is the son of the late Nicholas Michael Ellis and Naomi Jane Spencer Ellis of Port Gibson.

He has a family dental practice in Vicksburg.
