Members of the Carlow Choir under the direction of Giovanni De Chiaro sing for an audience of about 350 at First Baptist Church on Cherry Street Sunday afternoon. The choir includes 125 singers and instrumentalists from Louisiana and Mississippi. De Chiaro is an American classical guitarist who made his debut in 1976 in a Carnegie Hall performance and since has had seven solo recitals at Carnegie Hall. De Chiaro and his choir will travel to the Vatican next month to preform for Pope Benedict XVI.  (Meredith Spencer*The Vicksburg Post)
